[origin: EP0911280A2] A method and a device for transferring containers of shredded tobacco to individual feeders of cigarette-making machines. The device comprises a station (5) which can move preferably at right angles to the feeders (3); the station (5) is also provided with means (12a,12b) for gripping, tipping, stacking and unstacking the containers (1a,1b). The containers are arranged at supports (13a,13b) which move parallel to the feeders (3) and at right angles thereto. <IMAGE>
