[origin: EP0911290A2] The frame (2) incorporates a holder (3) for the roll (4) of sealing strip (8) to be unwound. Guide elements (7) move the appliance along the upright or bar of the double-glazed panel. A pressure roller (6) or shoe presses the sealing strip which has an adhesive coating on one side covered by a silicone-treated carrier strip (9). The frame contains a rotating reel (5) for the silicone-treated carrier strip and which is driven by a flexible drive element preferably a round belt (12) from the two-part bobbin (3).
