Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0911291A2] Individual signatures are selectively manipulated by retardation mechanism (250) to form group. Folding knife (10) and folding mechanism (240) below it are positioned downstream to produce a longitudinal fold in signatures (400) of at least one group. The knife moves from a first position to a second in which is forces the signatures into the folding mechanism.
