[origin: EP0911423A1] A layer (3) or several layers are produced by thermal spraying so that at least a part of a surface of a first workpiece (1) and at least a part of a surface of a second workpiece (2) are covered as a result of an additional powder material directed onto the surfaces to be coated using a gas. The resultant compound workpiece has been produced by the above method.
