[origin: EP0911459A1] The side parts (3) abutting on the central part (2) are formed with air through passage areas (21) between their edge areas (21) and the central part. These areas are formed as spaced flow apertures in air permeable areas of the side parts. The flow apertures extend over at least one longitudinal fold (10-14) in the ventilating component (1) longitudinal direction. The flow apertures of the side parts are closed by an air-permeable material layer fixable to the under side or the upper side of the side part, in order to close several flow apertures.
