[origin: EP0911527A1] Blade (4) or blades are mounted to rotate with the impeller and act against mating blades (5), formed in the conical surface (6a) of a fixed cover (6) by cut-outs (9) running radial to the conical surface. The cutting blade is positioned at an angle (10) to the direction of rotation (11) of the impeller and returns to rotation direction increasingly with radial distance from the centre (13).
