[origin: EP0911582A1] Upstream of the injection aperture (19) is a mixture zone (22). A liquid fuel conduit (20) and a water feed conduit (21) issue into the mixture zone. The fuel and water conduits are commonly arranged in a fuel lance (18), which has an end piece formed as a liquid fuel nozzle (17). The injection aperture and the mixture zone are arranged in this end piece.
