Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9803093A1] The invention concerns a sole for a cross-country, trail or telemark ski-boot. According to the invention, in order to attach a boot of this type to a cross-country, trail or telemark ski-binding between the ball region and the rear end, in particular at the rear end thereof, the front section (15) of the sole comprises means (e.g. undercut (17)) for engaging a clamping element (e.g. clamping cable (12)), such that the front sole section (15) can be clamped in between the front delimitation (27) of the latter and said engagement means (e.g. undercut (17)). A further reinforcing element (26) is embedded in the front section (15) of the sole. The reinforcing element (26) extends between the front delimitation (27) of the sole and the engagement means (e.g. undercut (17)) for the clamping element (e.g. clamping cable (12)) such that the resultant clamping force vector (28) lies over the zero line (29) of the reinforcing element (26), said zero line extending approximately parallel thereto.
