Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9804445A2] In a trolley travelling winch, the two side frames (6, 7) which extend on the sides of the travelling rail (2) are interconnected by two connecting columns (8) which are smooth and cylindrical outside and are inserted into receiving or sliding guiding means designed in the side frames (6, 7) below the travelling rail (2). In order to set the distance between the two side frames (6, 7) and to fix the set distance, means for receiving a threaded rod (46) parallel to the connecting columns (8) are arranged next to the connecting columns (8). The distance is set and fixed by threaded means (94, 95) mounted on the threaded rod (46), preferably locknuts. This type of fixing does not damage the design of the connecting columns (8), and so they can be easily dismounted at all times.
