Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9802593A1] The object of the invention is to provide a process in which the second layer has improved sintering quality, and also improved waste-gas values. During the process according to the invention for heat conversion of material containing organic substances in a two-stage process, after ignition of said first layer (1), a second layer (8) is applied which contains organic substances and has a maximum layer thickness of 20 % of the first layer and the second layer is heat treated when the combustion zone of the first layer burns up to at least 70 % of the organic substances entering the combustion zone of the first layer from the second layer and following the pressure difference. The region above the combustion zone of the first layer has to have a different temperature which prevents condensation of the organic substances entering the first layer from the second layer.
