Umbrella has roof (4) and parts of roof consist of thin-walled airtight foldable material, e.g. a plastic. When umbrella is in use some parts are inflatable to give stability. Inflatable elements include ribs (5), and roof material (6). Foldable flat material between the struts, preferably is a plastic foil. Alternatively, umbrella roof is formed by connected inflatable chambers' respective segments.
