[origin: DE19748648C1] The roller and cutter has a cutting section for cutting a paper web into multiple webs an a winding section for forming the webs into rolls. The winding section (1) has at least one more winding positioning group (III) than required for winding the web section. Each web section (5) can be guided to the respective winding positioning group using path guides. This allows a further web to be wound during at least one roll change.
