Abstract (en)
The escalator has a balustrade with a sloping structure and a handrail (3). The balustrade base contains a light (7) for illuminating the stepped or pallet belt (1.1). The light acts as a support for components (6) of the base (5) and/or of the balustrade structure. The back of the light is in the form of a reflector.

Eine Fahrtreppe oder ein Fahrsteig mit schrägem Balustradenaufbau und einem aus Stufen bestehenden Stufenband (1.1) bzw. mit einem aus Paletten bestehenden Palettenband verbindet eine erste Etage (E1) mit einer zweiten Etage (E2). Fahrtreppen oder Fahrsteige mit schrägem Balustradenaufbau sind für Orte mit rauhen Umgebungsbedingungen wie beispielsweise U-Bahnen vorgesehen und sind weitgehend vandalensicher. Die obere Begrenzung einer Balustrade (4) bildet ein Handlauf (3), der an einem Balustradenprofil befestigt ist, das von einem Balustradenträger getragen wird. Stufenbandseitig ist das Balustradenprofil mittels einer schräg verlaufenden Innenverkleidung mit einem Sockel (5) verbunden. Eine Aussenverkleidung kleidet den Balustradenträger ein. Am Sockel (5) ist eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung (7) zur Ausleuchtung des Gehbereiches des Stufenbandes angeordnet. <IMAGE>
