[origin: EP0913542A1] The light has a casing extending longitudinally. It can be turned about its longitudinal axis to different positions. The light (10) has at least two different technical lighting systems, independent of each other, so that by turning the light about its longitudinal axis (25), the beam direction from the lamps (21, 22) can be varied. It may be in the form of a ceiling fitting, possibly a suspended one. With the light turned to one position, the lamp of one system shines downwards and that of the other shines upwards. The other position is 180 degrees different and reverses the direction of the lamps.
