[origin: EP0913551A1] The crank comprises a central rod (2) connected at each end by an articulation point (3,4) to a first and second rods. The first rod is connected through a cardan knuckle joint to the rotational spindle of the roller blind shutter. The second rod serves as a gripping means for the user. One of the articulations has an opening (7) which engages a bearing (8). The bearing has a central opening, which engages the articulation spindle, having several sides for connecting the central rod to the first and second rods.
