Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0913572A2] The air intake noise suppresser has a housing for the sound waves to be dampened within it, coupled (2) to the medium which carries the sound waves. The housing is of two identical half-sections (1), with half-rings (4,6) and webs (5) at the bonding point and matching each other. Each housing half-section (1) has a coupling connection (2).
