Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0913660A2] The mechanism to feed belt ammunition has capstan wheels operated by coil springs (28,29) and a closed chain loop (17). The chain loop (17) is formed by four chain wheels (13-16) in the housing (20), with one chain wheel (13) connected to the capstan wheel shaft (8) for its drive. One end of the coil springs (28,29) is supported on shoulders (26,27) in the housing (20), and the other end is at pressure pieces (24,25) on the chain loop (17).
