Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0913754A1] The DC voltage regulator circuit has a combined reference terminal and control input (CTRL) connected to the base of a transistor (T) which has its collector connected to the gate of a thyristor (Th), which is connected in series between input and output terminals. A resistor (R) is connected between anode and gate of the thyristor. A zener diode (Z) is connected between the output terminal and the reference input to provide the reference voltage.
