Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0913846A2] The control input is in the form of a rotary element with an input spindle Ä16Ü a switch housing Ä10Ü and an in-line thermostat module Ä20Ü with an input spindle Ä24Ü. The spindle of the switch has a number of cams that operate switch stages for such as power on and indicator activation. As the input is turned, the thermostat spindle turns with it. As this proceeds an axial ramp is engaged and when the full power position of 270 degrees is reached a coupling element is disengaged to prevent further movement of the thermostat.
