Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0913882A2] The method involves insulating an electric component (10) having a main body (12), from which at least two connecting wires (14, 15) go off. The component is stuck in such way in a hose-like, shrink-wrap wrapping (21), that both connecting wires project over the wrapping. The wrapping is equipped with a quantity of sealing medium (26), and is sealed at, at least one end, over which at least one connecting wire projects, through the application of heat.
