[origin: FR2762622A1] The invention concerns a tunnel washing machine comprising a drum (16) with horizontal axis, partitioned lengthways to form successive sections wherein the clothes loads are transferred step by step, to be subjected to pre-washing, washing and rinsing operations. The partitioning is provided by partitions(30) bored with openings in their top parts (32) in the form of circular sectors. In each section, a blade (34) transfers the clothes loads when the drum (16) completes one full turn. The blade (34) connects the opposite edges of the openings (32). It is formed by at least three substantially planar parts (36, 38), assembled with straight or round weld seams thereby enabling automated manufacturing.
