A strip (2) of sealing material (1) is removed from a larger panel. Suitable apertures (3) for tractor (70, 71, 73) pins (72,74) are cut from the strip using a punch or die. Sealing disc profiles (5) are precut into the strip, in which they are retained by a crosspiece (7) until removed for heat forming.

Bei einem Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Bandes aus Dichtscheibenmaterial wird das Band (2) aus Dichtscheibenmaterial (1) streifenweise herausgetrennt. Öffnungen (3) zum Eingriff von Mitnahme- und/oder Positioniermitteln (72, 74) eines Traktormittels (70, 71, 73) werden aus dem Band ausgestanzt. Dichtscheibenprofile werden in das Band vorgestanzt, die in dem Band durch Mittel (7) gehalten werden. <IMAGE>
