Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0915212A2] The roof element (1) includes heat insulating layer (16) between the rafters and comes ready tiled with the tiles (15) laid so that the rafters which each form a connecting edge with the next roof element are kept tile-free. The ridge edge of the roof element is closed by a ridge board (20) arranged so that in the installed state of the roof element the ridge board is aligned vertical with its surface. The rafters are connected together by shuttering (11) on the top side and the underneath of the roof element is covered by a damp- proof layer (17) which can be fixed directly to the underneath of the rafters. The connecting edge of the roof element has a shoulder to engage over the connecting edge of the next roof element.
