[origin: FR2764238A1] The invention concerns a method for transferring an image which consists in hot-contacting under pressure a printed image on a base (10) using sublimable ink(s) and a polyester film, said contact being carried out between a heated surface (2) and a non-heated surface (1). The invention is characterised in that it consists in using a polyester film bearing, on the non-heated surface (1), an adhesive layer coated with a strippable foil, the strippable foil free surface being in contact with the non-heated surface (1), and said non-heated surface (1) is coated with a silicon polymer or polytetrafluoroehtylene layer.
