Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0916301A1] The socket has a tubular body (3) mounted in a wall (2). A spring (10) holds a sliding block (9) where it covers the opening to the fixed vacuum connection (7). The hose (15) has a cylindrical end (16) which pushes the sliding block clear of the vacuum connection when the hose is inserted into the socket. A hole (17) in the side of the hose end faces the vacuum connection.
