Abstract (en)
The hand support is in the form of a plate (2) with a sliding under-surface (5) and a hand grip (3) on its upper surface (4) which also acts as a shock absorber. The hand grip is in the form of a handle which slopes relative to the upper surface of the plate at an angle which can be varied to give elastic damping. The plate and hand grip can be molded in one piece from a material with sufficient elasticity to allow the angle of the hand grip to be varied, or they can be made from rigid materials, with the hand grip mounted on the plate by a pivot. A strap (13) or shell of a synthetic material keeps the plate on the hand.

Cet accessoire est constitué par une planchette (2), dont la face inférieure forme une surface de glissement (5) et dont la face supérieure (4) est équipée de moyens de préhension (3) par une main de l'utilisateur de l'engin, ces moyens de préhension présentant une fonction d'amortissement. L'utilisateur d'un engin de glisse tient un accessoire dans chaque main, ce qui lui permet de prendre un appui glissant sur la neige, et protège ses bras en cas de chute. <IMAGE>
