[origin: US6155911A] A process and a device for polishing both sides of an optical lens, in which the lens is mounted in a first workpiece holder and is polished on a first side and a second workpiece holder is then positioned opposite the first work piece holder. The lens, without being turned around, is transferred to the second workpiece holder, where its other side is polished by treatment coming from the side of the first workpiece holder.
