[origin: EP0916453A2] The suction device has a cowl casing (2) covering the back and part of the circumferential edge of the tool (4), connected to a vacuum device. A shield projection (3) extends over the circumferential edge of the free end face and projects beyond it axially. The shield projection has several slots (31) along its circumferential extent. These slots are open towards the free end and run normally to the circumference.
