[origin: EP0916515A1] The binding machine has a feed unit for the sheets, a wire feed (14), and at least one binding head (10) with clincher device (12). The binding head and clincher device are both on the same receiver element (16, 36). This element can be removed from the machine. The receiver element may have a quick clamping element (18, 38) which can be engaged with a complementary element on the binding machine.
