Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0916587A1] The screw cap has a guarantee ring (26) which becomes separated from the cap (11) when the bottle is opened. Tabs (39) contact the underside of a bulge (34) on the neck of the bottle so that they cannot bend radially inwards more than to a certain extent, so that they come directly into use when the cap is unscrewed. The turning axis of the tabs may lie either radially inside their inner edge, or in a common vertical plane.
