Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0916608A2] The conveyor has a first conveying apparatus (10) for horizontally transporting folded sheets (14), a second conveying apparatus (22) for vertically transporting them, and a transfer apparatus for delivering sheets from the first to the second conveyor. A horizontally movable carriage (26) on which a vertically movable delivery blade (24) is arranged. The blade is driven by an electric motor (32) controlled by a microprocessor (34). The electric motor may be a linear motor.
