Abstract (en)
The tooth has a blade (3) which is in the milling direction (1) of a cutting support area (2). The cutting support area has a constant cross sectional area in a section of the cutting axis (4). The cutting support area has a step formation (10) at its outer edge which is directed approximately parallel to the cutting axis, whereby the rear cutting support area is drawn inwards. The step formation may be rounded in the concave transition. Alternatively, in the rear side flanks of the cutting support area and in the milling direction, an elongated inward bulge (11) may be formed. The bulge formations may extend as far as the termination edge (13) of the milling tooth.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Fräszahn zum Einbau in eine Fräszahnhalterung eines Erdbearbeitungsgerätes mit mindestens einer in Fräsrichtung, einem Schneidenstützbereich vorgelagerten Schneide (2) mit mindestens einer Schneidkante (3), welcher dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß die Größe der senkrecht zur Fräsvorschubrichtung liegenden und die mindestens eine Schneidkante (3) schneidenen Querschnittsflächen des Schneidenstützbereiches in wenigstens einem, von jeweils zwei solcher Querschnittsflächen begrenzten, Bereich etwa gleichbleibt. Hiermit wird, bei einfachem Aufbau, auch bei Verschleiß der in Fräsvorschubrichtung weisenden Vorschubseite (9) ein effektiver Fräsvorschub ermöglicht. <IMAGE>
