Abstract (en)

A wall panel (12) is bored with fitting holes into which are pressed metal sleeve inserts. The inserts have an internal thread (22) in the outer part. The wall fittings comprise special shafts (24) which shaped heads (28) to fit into the inserts and with threaded sleeves (30) to secure the fitting into the threaded part of each insert. The threaded fitting is covered by a washer (32). The fittings support a variety of structures on the wall panels. The sleeve inserts are lipped at the rear and are pressed into support plates (18) fitted into recessed mountings in the rear of the panels. This spreads the loading on the inserts.
