[origin: EP0916795A1] A switch device (5, 6) is provided on the window or door frame adjacent to the opposite closing edge (9). The switch device is connected to a motor (4) for driving the window or door wing. The switch device is not arranged in the overlapping region of the closing edge. The switch has an elongate operating surface, and may be screwed to the frame. The switch may be a pressure-actuated pneumatic strip.
