Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0916837A2] The exhaust gas return device has an exhaust gas cooler (10) and a valve (11) which sets the amount of the returned exhaust gas. The valve can be adjusted by a setting element (13). The exhaust gas cooler and the valve are connected directly to each other to form one structural unit. The setting element is fitted to a component (23) which is in heat conducting contact with the exhaust gas cooler or to a component which has one or more channels for liquid coolant.
