Abstract (en)
A discharge lamp electrode component, produced by metal powder injection molding of a refractory metal or its carbide, is new. A discharge lamp electrode component, made of refractory metal (especially tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, rhenium or their alloys) in metallic or carbide form, is produced by the metal powder injection molding method. An Independent claim is also included for a lamp with the above electrode component.
