[origin: EP0917845A2] The picture (6) can only be removed from the wall (5) when the second fixing unit (100) can be opened. An intermediate frame part (4), positioned between inner (2) and outer frame (3) holds the picture (6) in place and accommodates the edge of the covering plate (7). The design of a picture frame (1) consists of three main frame elements (2,3,4). The inner frame (2) can be fixed to a wall (5) with a fixing device (9) and the outer frame (3) is fixed to the inner frame (2) in a way that the second fixing device (100) locks the first device (9).
