Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0917933A2] The evaluation process determines the soiling level of the cutting head due to the shaved hair. It detects the noise from the top or bottom (102) cutter blade during cutting, by a measuring system (104,105). The frequency of the detected noise is evaluated by comparison with an ideal value corresponding to a clean cutting head, to provide an indication of the soiling level.
