One or both of the unwind and winding stations (2, 5) is driven by a vertical rotation axle (8) that can be rotated between a vertical position and a horizontal position, the axle lying in the latter position during rest.

Es wird eine Rollenwickeleinrichtung mit einer Abwickelstation (2) und einer Aufwickelstation (5) angegeben. Mit einer derartigen Wickeleinrichtung möchte man auch große Rollen handhaben können, ohne daß der Einfluß der Gewichtskraft auf die Wickelhärte zu groß wird. Hierzu ist mindestens eine der beiden Wickelstationen (2, 5) mit einer vertikal stehenden Rotationsachse (25, 26, 27) betreibbar, wobei die Rotationsachse (25, 26, 27) zwischen ihrer vertikal ausgerichteten Wickelposition und einer im wesentlichen horizontal liegenden Rüstposition verschwenkbar ist. <IMAGE>
