Es wird eine Wickelvorrichtung (1) angegeben zum Aufwickeln von Materialbahnen (2) auf Wickelrollen (3, 4) mit einem Wickelbett (10), das aus mindestens zwei Tragwalzen (11, 12) gebildet ist, von denen mindestens eine angetrieben ist. Mit einer derartigen Wickelvorrichtung möchte man auf kostengünstige Weise eine größere Flexibilität beim Wickeln gewinnen können. Hierzu ist seitlich neben mindestens einer Tragwalze (12) außerhalb des Wickelbetts (10) eine Rollenstützeinrichtung (14) mit einer Kernaufnahme (15) angeordnet, in der eine Wickelrolle (5) zentrisch lagerbar ist. <IMAGE>
