Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0918206A2] A shell for munition is made of a hard material outer shell (1) and with an inner shell of sharp edged fragments (3) embedded in adhesive and with an inner thin shell (8) to hold the fragments against the outer shell. The hardness of the fragments matches that of the outer shell, or is less than that of the outer shell. The adhesive contains hard chips of a heavy metal.
