A coaxial connector (10) in which the coaxial connector is provided with a cap-nut (40) which is connectable on the coaxial connector on the cable side. A first contact device (42) contacts the outer conductor (86) at least two radially opposite points externally through a sheath-insulation (90) of the coaxial cable. A second contact device (26,34,38) contacts the bared inner conductor (88) at east two radially opposite points. First and second clamping devices (64,44) are provided, the first converting an axial movement of a cap-nut (40) as it is fixed on the coaxial connector (10) into radially inward directed movement of the first contact device (42) into a contact position with the outer conductor (86), and a retaining force of the cap-nut into a contact force operating on the first contact device (42). The second contact device (44) converts an axial movement of a cap- nut (40) into a radially inward movement of a second contact device (26,34,38) into a contact position with the inner conductor (88).

Ein Koaxialverbinder zum Anschluß eines Koaxialkabels mit einem Innenleiter und einem Außenleiter, wobei der Koaxialverbinder mit einer Überwurfmutter versehen ist, welche kabelseitig am Koaxialverbinder festlegbar ist, weist auf ein erstes Kontaktmittel (42), das an wenigstens zwei radial gegenüberliegenden Stellen von außen durch eine Mantelisolierung (90) des Koaxialkabels (84) hindurch den Außenleiter (86) kontaktiert, ein zweites Kontaktmittel (26, 34, 38), das an wenigstens zwei radial gegenüberliegenden Stellen den abisolierten Innenleiter (88) kontaktiert, ein erstes Klemmittel (64),das eine axiale Bewegung der Überwurfmutter (40) bei deren Befestigen am Koaxialverbinder (10) in eine bezüglich des Koaxialkabels (84) radial einwärts gerichtete Bewegung des ersten Kontaktmittels (42) in eine Kontaktstellung mit dem Außenleiter (86) und eine Haltekraft der Überwurfmutter (40) in eine auf das erste Kontaktmittel (42) wirkende Kontaktkraft umsetzt, und ein zweites Klemmittel (44), das eine axiale Bewegung der Überwurfmutter (40) bei deren Befestigen am Koaxialverbinder (10) in eine bezüglich des Koaxialkabels (84) radial einwärts gerichtete Bewegung des zweiten Kontaktmittels (26, 34, 38) in eine Kontaktstellung mit dem Innenleiter (88) und eine Haltekraft der Überwurfmutter (40) in eine auf das zweite Kontaktmittel (26, 34, 38) wirkende Kontaktkraft umsetzt. <IMAGE>
