[origin: EP0919310A1] The machine has an annular forging box (3) rotatable about the workpiece feed axis with forging rams (5) carrying tools (6) and acting through radial apertures (4) as the box rotates. The rams are supported by pivotable guides (13) and the linear motions of the rams is superimposed with oscillatory motions in a plane perpendicular to the feed axis which pivot the tools back at an angular speed corresponding to the box rotation rate but opposite to the angular speed of the box
