[origin: EP0919379A1] The method involves transferring the rear edge of a sheet on one cylinder (4) to a gripper (14) on a following cylinder (8) in a turning arrangement by raising the rear edge from the first cylinder, feeding the sheet holding surface of the gripper away from the periphery of the second cylinder, engaging the edge away from the cylinder periphery and returning the sheet holding surface to the periphery of the cylinder.
