Abstract (en)
The cleaning procedure of a rotary printing head (1) and an inking roller (7) on a support (9) consists of removing the inking roller and replacing it with a cleaning roller before operating the printing head drive for a set period of time. After that time, e.g. a duration of fifteen revolutions of the printing head, the cleaning roller is removed and the inking roller put back in its original position. In a variant of the procedure the use of the cleaning roller can be followed by a drying roller.

Dans une tête d'impression (1) d'une machine à affranchir du type à tambour rotatif comportant un ensemble de gravure ayant au moins des premières molettes d'impression (10) pour l'impression d'une valeur d'affranchissement et des secondes molettes d'impression (12) pour l'impression d'une date courante, et la machine à affranchir comportant un support encreur (9) sur lequel est monté un rouleau encreur (7) destiné à assurer une mise en encre de la tête d'impression (1), on remplace tout d'abord le rouleau encreur (7) par un rouleau de nettoyage puis on actionne une motorisation de la tête d'impression (1) pendant une durée déterminée et à la fin de cette durée déterminée on remet en place le rouleau encreur après avoir ôté le rouleau de nettoyage. L'invention concerne également le système de nettoyage correspondant et la machine à affranchir incorporant ce système. <IMAGE>
