[origin: EP0919466A1] The apparatus, designed to place a cardboard panel in each box of bottles as it leaves a packing section on a conveyor (E), has a holder (A) for the cardboard panels which travels along tracks (B) to the end of the packing machine and once there is raised by a lifter (C) operated by a power cylinder (H). The boxes of the bottles (F) pass through the machine along the conveyor, and once five boxes have been accumulated a photoelectric cell actuates a mechanism which picks up the cardboard panels and places them in the boxes.
