A connector assembly has an external casing (1) and an electrical connector (2) fitted on the side of one end, attached to the casing . A ring (3) slides onto the assembly and is fitted to the casing with a hardened adhesive material.

Vorgeschlagen wird ein langgestrecktes Element mit einem äußeren Mantel (1) und einem endseitigen elektrischen Verbinder (2), der stoffschlüssig am Mantel (1) fixiert ist, wobei ein Ring (3) vorhanden ist, der auf das Element aufgeschoben und mit einem erhärteten Haftmedium an dessen Mantel (1) fixiert ist, und daß der Verbinder (2) am Ring (3) befestigt ist. Weiterhin ist ein Verfahren zur Fertigung des Elementes beschrieben. <IMAGE>
