Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0920815A1] A conveyor conveys the articles (A) in a direction across their lengthwise axes to a space collecting a set number of articles. The articles are transferred by a transfer appliance (33) towards the lengthwise axes of the articles into a container. A pusher arrangement pushes one or more of the top layers of articles in an axial direction. The pusher arrangement comprises a pusher strip and opposite return bar.
