[origin: EP0920983A1] The padding (1) for use in a laminate press, to spread the pressure evenly over the material, is a woven material (2) with one group of parallel filaments (3) and a further group of filaments (4) in parallel which intersect the first. The density of the second group of filaments (4) is such that the first group of filaments (3) can only pass between them by compression of the rubber elastic material (13) of the second filaments (4).
