[origin: EP0921008A1] The method involves compensating gaps in the transitions from module (11,12) to module (12,13) before installation in a printer by evaluating sample printouts, rotating the head and storing correction values. The print control computer generates individual print data as correction data for the ink jet head and stores the data internally in nonvolatile memory.
